Pre-edge portion of the XANES spectrum of plagioclase in RA-QD02-0100. Fe²⁺ and Fe³⁺ positions are from the amphibole standards whose Fe³⁺/(Fe²⁺ and Fe³⁺) ratios have been well determined by wet chemistry (Monkawa et al. 2006; Satake et al. 2014). The presence of two peaks corresponding to Fe²⁺ and Fe³⁺ is obvious.
