Track lines for the 84002111 and 84002112 cruise/legs of the R/V Jean Charcot. Tracks with spacings of 1.5 to 3 nautical miles are drawn on a bathymetric map of the Nankai, Suruga, and Sagami Troughs and the Japan and Izu-Bonin Trench areas. Each red numeral shows the first location of the corresponding day of year. The red star indicates the location of the Kakioka Observatory (KAK).
