Index parameter estimation for NS and EW components. Index parameters of C (left), R (middle), and τ error (right) calculated for horizontal components at TYS station at a period range of 100 to 200 s using ten teleseismic event records from 20 September 2009 to 10 January 2010. Gray dots and open circles are index parameters against each surrounding reference station and the medians among values of each radial/transverse component for each event, respectively. Red and pink curves are ellipses fitted to all the data and those fitted to each Bootstrap sample, respectively. Estimated parameters and variance reductions (VR) are described at the bottom of figures. The errors of each estimated parameter (standard deviation) are enclosed in parentheses represent, and for R, they are evaluated as a factor.
