Displacement waveforms at station OIT009 modeled by using waveforms at smaller-sized events. Black and purple traces show the waveforms of the triggered event and those of smaller events convolved with the source time function for the pulse width of 1 s, respectively. Both of the waveforms are high-pass filtered in a corner frequency of 0.3 Hz. The waveform of the triggered event is time-shifted to match the S-wave phase of the convolved waveforms. The time t = 0 on the horizontal axis is the origin time of the smaller events
