Temporal evolution of the maximum LOS displacement in each interferogram near the center of the deformation field. Positive values show upward and/or east-southeastward displacement. Each time series AD shows independent time change defined in Table 1. In this figure, each time series is shifted vertically to show the smallest variation between the time series. The monthly number of earthquakes within the region (Fig. 2) is also plotted (Earthquake Research Institute 2002), including earthquakes with magnitudes of larger than 0.3 and depths of shallower than 20 km
