Repeated analyses of reference minerals of plagioclase, augite, and olivine indicated precision of An ± 0.7 for the plagioclase (An67.1), Mg# ± 0.3 for the augite (Mg# 87.1), and Mg# ± 0.1 for the olivine (Fo90.5) (Saito et al. 2002)
