The topography map of Asama volcano with an insert showing the locations of Mt. Asama and Tokyo. The white dashed line and black solid line on the summit indicate the Maekake and the Kamayama craters, respectively. Two old volcanoes, Kurofu and Hotokeiwa, lay to the west and on the southeast flank of Maekake volcano, respectively. The yellow squares indicate the location of the three GNSS stations, whereas the station AVOG is located at the eastern base of the volcano and the other two stations (KAWG and KAHG) are located on the edges of the summit Kamayama crater. The blue vectors indicate the horizontal displacement velocities of GNSS stations. The dashed black box indicates the region where our InSAR analysis focused on, namely, the geographical extents of Figs. 2, 5, 6, and 7
