  1. All of the analyzed specimens have no API estimate that meet our optimized selection criteria but some of the interpretations for specimens are shown. NRM0, initial NRM intensity. Blab, laboratory DC field during TRM acquisitions (in-field steps). θ, the angle between directions of the field in which NRM of the sample was produced and Blab. k, a measure of the curvature for all temperature steps (Paterson 2011). T1 − T2, temperature interval used in the determination. For the explanations of statistics of n, FRAC, Gap Max, b, MADfree, DANG, npTRM, DRATS, SCAT and k′, see “IZZI-Thellier (IZZI-T) method with pTRM checks” section. Note threshold values of the statistics for the selection criteria are documented under the column headings. Banc*, the value of the determined slope of NRM/TRM data for the selected temperature steps in the Arai diagram multiplied by the Blab value
