Cumulative frequency distributions of T-axis azimuths for the two periods (October 22–29 and October 30–December 15) for 18 subregions and results of the KS-test. The aftershock area was divided into 9 subregions of a length of 5 km by 5 km in the Y and Z directions in the western side in a–i, and in the eastern sides in aʹ–iʹ. Each panel is harmoniously juxtaposed with the actual position in the vertical section along the fault plane. The position occupied by each area is indicated by a range of coordinates on the upper side of each panel. The number of data for the two periods is also shown there. Relative cumulative frequency distributions of T-axis azimuths in the former period (October 22–29) shown by red lines and those in the latter period (October 30–December 15) by blue dashed lines. Arrows indicate the subregions where the KS-test rejected the null hypothesis that the two distributions are identical
