Gibbs sampling benchmark. We generate synthetic data using similar thermodynamic conditions to those of the experimental data using \(A_{\mathrm {K}}=10^{5}\) \(\hbox {s}^{-1}\) \(\hbox {MPa}^{-n_K}\), \(G_{\mathrm {K}}=10^{4.602}\,\)MPa, \(n_{\mathrm {K}}=10^{0.477}\), and \(E_{\mathrm {K}}=10^{5.6}\) kJ/mol. We generate \(2\times 10^5\) samples and discard the initial \(10^4\) samples. The histograms are formed using every 100\(^{\mathrm {th}}\) samples of the remaining set. The mean of the marginal distribution matches the true value (dashed black line) from which the synthetic data were generated
