Waveforms and acceleration Fourier spectra between the observed and synthesized ground motions in the EW component at Station 51BXD during the mainshock. Observed and synthesized waveforms (acceleration, velocity and displacement) are shown in the left panel. Black lines represent the waveforms of the observed ground motions. Red, blue, and purple lines represent the waveforms of the synthesized ground motions for the best-fit model, Model A and Model B, respectively. Acceleration Fourier spectra of the observed ground motions and the synthesized ground motions of three models are shown in the right panel. The Fourier spectra are smoothed by use of a logarithmic window function (Konno and Omachi 1998)
