Plots a–c show the horizontal frequency spectra estimated by WCFI method using three different horizontal scales: 0–50 km, 50–100 km and 100–150 km, respectively. The orange lines correspond to the frequency spectra and, the light green vertical lines show the standard error of spectra estimation on the spectra. All the spectra were estimated around 90 (±3) km altitude. The solid black line on top of the spectra illustrates a power-law fit between (2\(\pi\)/7 h) and (2\(\pi\)/2 h). The slope values with standard error are inscribed in each plot
