The red and blue triangles are the locations of the ocean-bottom seismometer (OBS) stations comprising the 2005 and 2006 networks. The seismicity of the United States Geological Survey catalog is indicated by the circles outlined in blue on the map and the gray dots in the four cross-sections. The red and blue dots on the cross-sections are the C2005 and C2006 earthquake sequences, respectively. The blue curves on the cross-sections indicate the subducting slab sourced from Model Slab 2.0 (Hayes 2018). The magenta line on the map indicates the profile location of Fig. 8.
