The arrows represent the direction of flow between the northern and southern hemispheres of IRC. The negative and positive values represent the radially inward and outward currents, respectively. The bin width is 1 h in local time. March, April, September, and October were selected for the combined equinox, November to February for DS, and May to August for JS
