Calculation conditions and the resultant crystal growth patterns on qs−Ts,0 diagram. δTc−s,0 is the temperature difference between the surface and center of the droplet. θs = (TM − Ts,0)/ΔThyp is the normalized supercooling at the droplet surface, where ΔThyp is the hypercooling limit. The solid curves correspond to the conditions of α = 0.2 and α = 1, respectively, where α = δTc− s,0/ΔTs,0 is the normalized temperature difference. The dashed curve is the criterion below which the entire droplet is hypercooled.
