The observed tsunami waveforms (red curves) at offshore bottom-pressure gauges (TM-1, TM-2), GPS wave gauges, and a coastal tide gauge. The original data were resampled at 1 min intervals. Blue and green curves are computed tsunami waveforms from the large slip near the trench (blue) and deeper interplate slip (green) as shown in Fig. 3(b).
