Black arrows denote motions of the Eurasian, Australian, Indian plates and the South China and Sundaland blocks in SE Asia and its vicinity, which are computed using the global plate kinematic model NNR-NUVEL-1A (DeMets et al., 1994). Solid diamond represents NONN site, which is one of GEODYSSEA sites (as described by Simons et al., 2007). The hachure shows the study area shown in Figs. 2, 3 and 5.
