They are in residues produced by hydrous melting experiments with 2 wt.% H₂O, compared with the result of anhydrous partial melting of KLB-1 at 1.0 GPa (Matsukage and Kubo 2003) and KR4003 at 4 to 7 GPa (Walter 1998). The range of abyssal, Kaapvaal, and Siberian peridotites are the same as in Figure 1. Solid and dashed curves show residual trends of hydrous and anhydrous conditions, respectively.
