Levels of ground noise at temporary seismic stations used for the explosion experiment. Mean noise in the frequency domain between 10 and 20 Hz for 15 shots at all the stations is plotted with gray markers. The first 10 s of data before the first arrival of the shot signal is used for noise estimation (see Figure 7). Red and blue markers show the third smallest amplitudes among the 15 shot data for the stations on and off Sakurajima Island, respectively.
