The north and south directions from the epicenter are shown in the figure. The distance of the respective station from the epicenter is also depicted. It is interesting to note that the TEC fluctuations propagated as far as pbri (location can be seen in Figure 3a) in the north but propagated only a few hundred kilometers in the south. Similar behavior was exhibited by PRN 16 TEC fluctuations. (Epicenter location shown by star is approximate, and not to scale).
