C values (gray dot) were calculated for M W  ≥ 7.0 events and three reference stations closest to each target station. Left, middle, and right figures show distributions for vertical, radial, and transverse components, respectively. Upper and lower figures represent distributions for periods of 50 to 100 s and 100 to 200 s, respectively. Thick and broken lines are upper 90th % values within each 50-km width bin and 0.7, respectively. On the panel of the vertical component at periods of 50 to 100 s, frequency distributions of distances between two stations are shown.
