The upper panel (a, b) shows the colored estimated b-values on the hypocenters together with contours of interpolated image, projected onto the horizontal and the vertical plane, respectively. The lower panels only show the interpolated coloring of the b-values with contours, but with different color ranges, so as to highlight the differences in values between deep and shallow earthquakes.
