The left and right panels show the projections onto the \(z=z_0\) and \(y=y_0\) planes, respectively, where \(z_0=r_{\mathrm{iono}}\cos \vartheta _A\), \(a_A=r_{\mathrm{iono}}\sin \vartheta _A\) (see Fig. 17) and \(y_0=a_A\cos \alpha _A\)
