The relationship between strain rate (Asr) and acceleration (Aacc) amplitudes at the stations of A.TSRN (140.8915ºE, 41.7736ºN) and A.HRDA (140.8810ºE, 41.4488ºN). Earthquakes of Fig. 4a with epicentral distances at the central channel of the cable smaller than 40 km were used for the investigation of the relationship. Acceleration waveforms were rotated to the cable direction. Strain rate amplitudes (Asr) at A.TSRN and A.HRDA were estimated from the regression line between DAS strain rate amplitudes and hypocentral distances. Red circles and green triangles show the values of A.TSRN and A.HRDA, respectively.
