Temporal variation of CAPE (upper panel) and temperature at the 100-hPa level (lower panel) during May–August in (a) 1998 and (b) 2001 at Delhi. Linear trends (at 95% confidence level) are shown (with solid straight line) in all panels. With the exception of the top panel (2001), all linear trends are significant.
