All of the data on historical earthquakes are divided into two data subsets: (1) events occurring in 1801–1925 (the solid circles in figure on the left) and events occurring during other periods (open circles in the figure on the left); (2) events related to the late Quaternary faults (open circles in the figure on the right) and unrelated (solid circles in the figure on the right).
