Blue, white, yellow-green and red colors for the slip velocity correspond to locking, slip with plate convergence rate, aseismic slip (faster than the plate convergence rate) and seismic slip, respectively. Numerals attached to the arrows indicate the time intervals between two successive snapshots. (n) shows coseismic slip distribution and the moment magnitude for EQ1 and EQ5.
