Parts of the cluster of local interstellar clouds within 10 pc are shown projected onto the galactic plane. The yellow dot shows the location of the Sun and the yellow arrow gives the direction of solar motion through the LSR. Cloud motions relative to the LSR are shown with blue arrows. The galactic center is towards the right of the figure, and = 90 ° is at the figure top. The bulk motion of these clouds is away from the center of the Loop I superbubble.
